Reggae Boyz beat Saudi Arabia 2-1 as Whitmore celebrates his 100th game in charge

RIYADH, Saudi Arabia — The Reggae Boyz beat Saudi Arabia 2-1 in the second of their two-game friendly internationals inside the Prince Faisal bin Fahd Stadium in Saudi Arabia moments ago. The Boyz, who have been struggling with positive COVID-19 test results, went down 0-3 in the first game played against the hosts on Saturday. The Boyz are using the games as preparation for next summer's Concacaf Gold Cup Tournament and the start of the Fifa World Cup qualifiers.

The hosts opened the scoring in the 29th minute through Abdullah Al-Hamden but the Reggae Boyz drew level courtesy of Daniel Johnson in the 34th minute. Jamaica got the winning goal in the 64th minute as Javon East netted, to give coach Theordore Tappa Whitmore a win in his 100th game as goal of the Reggae Boyz
