GRANGE HAILS SUNSHINE GIRLS AFTER HISTORIC NZ WIN
Kingston, March 29 - The Honourable Olivia Grange, Minister of Culture, Gender, Entertainment and Sport has congratulated the Sunshine Girls on their winning of the recently played 4-nation Netball Series in New Zealand.
Miss Grange said it was great that the Sunshine Girls created history by winning the Quad series for the first time and also beating the New Zealand Silver Ferns twice to win the Taini Jamison Trophy.
“The victory was even sweeter since the Silver Ferns are the number two ranked Netball team in the world. It augurs well for us in the Commonwealth Games which start in Australia in a couple of weeks,” Minister Grange said.
