Two dead in fatal accident in Clarendon and St. Mary

October 08, 2019 – Tyrone Thompson of Oxford district, St. Mary died as a result of injuries he received in a motor vehicle accident on Boscobel main road in the parish on Monday, October 07.

Reports from the Oracabessa Police are that about 7:50p.m., Thompson was a passenger in a Nissan AD wagon, while overtaking another vehicle, the driver allegedly lost control of the vehicle which subsequently collided into a Isuzu Forward Tipper Truck travelling in the opposite direction. The Police were alerted and on their arrival Thompson was transported to hospital where he succumbed to his injuries.

Investigation continues.

Mwanwhile, Earlon Davy of Chapelton died as a result of injuries he received in a motor vehicle collision on Dawkins Pen Road in Clarendon on Monday, October 07. Reports from the Lionel Town Police are that about 6:35 p.m., the driver of a Toyota Hilux motorcar that was travelling easterly along the road way when he allegedly lost control of the vehicle, which collided in a Toyota Coaster bus. Davy was taken to hospital where he succumbed to his injuries. Investigations continue.
