WOMAN ARRESTED AFTER FIRE KILLED THREE CHILDREN AT BOOBY DRIVE
The 18-year-old woman who was arrested following the deaths of three children and the injury of two others in a fire at Booby Drive, Kingston 11 is to appear in the Kingston and St. Andrew Parish Court on Thursday, February 15.
The woman, Sanoya Clarke, was charged with the offence of Cruelty to Child in relation to the injury of two of the children.
Detectives are awaiting a ruling from the Office of the Director of Public Prosecutions to determine if additional charges will be laid.
One-year-old twins—Juvaughne and Jivaughne Bennett—and three-year-old Krisante Maxwell, died in the fire that destroyed their home on Saturday, January 27. Three-year-old Tadieke Bennett later died at hospital while being treated. A fifth child was treated and released.
