AUGUST TOWN CURFEW

A curfew has been imposed in sections of August Town, St. Andrew. The curfew began at 6:00 p.m., on Saturday, January 27 and will remain in effect until 6:00 p.m. on Monday, January 29.

The boundaries of the curfew are as follows:

NORTH: Along the intersection of Golding Road with Manley Avenue to Bedward Gardens at the eastern boundary.

SOUTH: Along an imaginary line from the eastern boundary to the intersection of August Town with Manley Avenue.

EAST: Along an imaginary line from the northern boundary to Hope River Bed at the southern boundary.

WEST: Along the imaginary line from the intersection of August Town Road with Manley Avenue to the northern boundary.

During the hours of the curfew, all persons within the boundaries are required to remain within their premises, unless otherwise authorized by the ground commander.
